YA Cuvée 23 Brut Reserva, Spain, 2021

Estate grown and bottled by Familia Sumarroca. On their quest to make a great cava, they blind tasted over a dozen grower cavas. They lost count at 23 and reached a consensus with Ya! Aged on the lees for 2 1/2 years before disgorging.
This cava is fresh, dry and clean with notes of lemon citrus, white flower, yellow apple, stone fruit, mineral, and a hint of brioche on the nose. On the palate, this is simply an elegant sparkler.
