Typical of the McLaren Vale, this Shiraz drinks like a Northern Rhone Syrah turned up to 11. Fresh violets, intense ripe brambles and blueberries with a touch of white pepper and a hint of saline minerality. Cassis, blackberries, black pepper, dark plums, nougat chocolate, subtle bacon on the nose. Full-bodied with depth on the palate, berry fruit, plums, velvety tannins, peppery spice, round in itself, beautiful length.
