Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, California, USA

Famous worldwide.  Well known in wine circles for maybe being a bit "over oaked" and vanilla forward.  Owner David Duncan has brought about some changes in the oak aging with the 2017 vintage where they now only use their own oak barrels.  In turn the wine is a bit more refined and classic.  Still going to hit the spot for all of the Silver Oak fans out there.  Bistro Filet is the top pairing, but the Center Cut Filet and Braised Short Rib's can work as well.
