Mulberry, blueberry, hints of cranberry, spiced cedar and eucalyptus.  Purple flower notes open the way for a minerally yet smooth and vibrant palate of dark fruit and graphite. 50% Merlot with equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon + Cabernet Franc. Stainless Steel fermentation and aging keep the wine fresh.  Winemaker Jean Marc Barthez serves as the president of a small co-operative winery in Monségur, an ancient village founded in the 13th century. A Mary Taylor White Label Series wine, chosen for its sense of place and showcasing the appellation's essence.
