This wine is from a fine parcel on pebbly ground, adjoining the Beaune 1er Cru Las Aigrots so it fits perfectly into our selection process of a great wine, made just the wrong side of the fence - hence the sensible price!
8-10 months in French oak and a modest 10-15% new barrels are used. so this is not over-oaked but allowed to express the terroir and vintage.
