Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur Bourgogne Chardonnay, Burgundy, France

This outstanding Bourgogne is sourced from Les Herbeaux, a lieu dit in Meursault’s northernmost sector adjoining the Premier Cru Malpoiriers. The vines in this small parcel were planted in 1953 with a newer section added in 2010 and produce Chardonnays with prodigious stuffing- enough to easily handle the exact same winemaking as Francoise Bitouzet’s vaunted Meursaults.
