Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur Bourgogne Blanc

This wine may as well have made the cut as a true Meursault. It certainly lies within the village boundary, though its classification rings in as a Bourgogne Blanc, which in this case is very much in its favor. The vines were planted in 1953. Aging is on par with wines of the region; barrel-aged for 12-15 months in smaller barrels, a fifth of which are new.
