This wine's gorgeous floral aromas steal the show. Wave one hits with jasmine and those delightful Hawaiian puakenikeni flowers. Wave two includes coconut, chamomile and fresh-cut grass. The wine's mouthfeel is crisp and brisk, with flavors like grapefruit and lemon curd spread on stroopwafels. A blend of 67% Sauvignon and 33% Semillon, the 2021 Chaleur Blanc will give a top Bordeaux Blanc a run for its money. Bright lemon curd, honeyed minerality, acacia flowers, and hints of brioche all define the aromatics, and it’s medium to full-bodied, with a pure, layered, seamless mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and a great finish.
