Chardonnay Thevenet & Fils Macon Pierreclos

Domaine Thevenet's Macon Pierreclos is a staple for Ancona's. This is uber clean, crispy and crushable Macon Blanc from one of the most reliable sources that the region has to offer. It is a blend of Chardonnay sourced from four different vineyard sites. The vines are an average of 45 years in age. This contributes to the wine's concentrated mineral content. It is fermented and aged in tank, avoinding any contact with new oak, and the end result is delicious.
