Arnaud Lambert Saumur Champigny Rouge "Clos Mazurique", Loire Valley France

Arnaud Lambert is a dynamic and innovative winemaker in France's Loire Valley,
leading a movement to elevate the terroir of the Saumur and Saumur-Champigny
appellations. His estate is a blend of family legacy and modern vision, focused on
precise, organic, and biodynamic viticulture. “Clos Mazurique” is made from 40 year
old vines from the monopole (single vineyard only belonging to Arnaud Lambert) on the
slopes of the Brézé hill.
It is medium-bodied with flavors of bright red fruit, notably cherry and plum. A tangy,
mineral-driven quality, sometimes described as chalky or graphite-like, adds depth and
rounds out the mouthfeel.
